How To Merge SRT Files
In video and podcast production, or during remote collaboration, it's common to have separate audio tracks for each participant. This often results in multiple SRT subtitle files for the same video. Manually merging these SRT files into one can be a tedious task.
AI Transcription offers a Subtitle Merger to simplify this process. In this article, we will guide you on how to use the Subtitle Merger to combine SRT files.
1. Launch Subtitle Merger
After opening AI Transcription, go to the main menu and select Subtitle Merger. (Refer to the screenshot below for guidance.)

2. Select the Subtitle Files You Want to Merge
Next, choose the subtitle files you’d like to combine. The tool supports SRT files and other common formats, so you can upload multiple subtitles at once. Simply click to select the files, and they’ll be added to the merger interface.

3. Choose Your Merge Mode
The subtitle merger provides different modes depending on your needs:
Timestamp-based merge: Merges subtitles according to their time codes.
End-to-end merge: Joins files one after another, useful for multi-part videos (like CD1 and CD2).
